It’s so distressing to hear of another mass shooting in America and the fact most of the victims were young children. What drives an individual to kill innocents I will never know. America’s gun laws are derided worldwide and condemned for their insanity. I can’t fathom why politicians and lawmakers can’t agree on some simple changes that would benefit Americans and keep school students safe. Though many have tried before, I hope President Biden will be more successful than his predecessors in enacting responsible gun laws. All parents should be safe in the knowledge their children will arrive home safely from school each and every day.
